CHARLOTTE, NC, March 2012 —Recently more than 100 Camoplast Solideal employees have traveled across America to participate in the 2nd National Sales Meeting. The theme of the meeting was “Staying on Track. Driving Productivity.” and was held in Charlotte, North Carolina. In addition to the sales representatives, participants from Camoplast Solideal’s Corporate, including employees from Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance and Operations, Customer Service and Human Resources attended the event. The meeting was kicked off by Mr. Pierre Marcouiller, CEO for Camoplast Solideal, with a “State of the Union” address. Once the attendees settled in, Mr. Marcouiller discussed expectations for the conference and outlined Camoplast Solideal’s strategic vision for the future. He also took time to celebrate the fact that, even with today’s challenging economy, Camoplast Solideal’s 2011 orders have continued to surpass previous years. During the course of the meeting, Camoplast Solideal’s employees explored “Staying on Track. Driving Productivity”. This theme reflects the values that Camoplast Solideal strives to bring to its customers in all respects, including design, quality and customer service. During the course of the conference, participants attended informational sessions on upcoming new sales programs and product development. During the awards dinner ceremony, sales representatives were also acknowledged for their accomplishments. According to Mr. Bob Bulger, Vice President Americas for Camoplast Solideal, education and awareness of current industry trends and developments are key components to every Camoplast Solideal employee’s training. “All of our sales representatives are trained extensively from the first date of hire,” explains Mr. Bulger. “The event provided opportunity for our sales teams to broaden their product knowledge, sharpen their skills and develop their industry expertise. This in turn allows them to better serve and meet the needs of our growing and ever-changing customers.” Camoplast Solideal is the world leading specialist in design, manufacturing and distribution of off-road tires, wheels, rubber tracks, undercarriage systems, body dressing parts, under-the-hood plastic components and assemblies, molded skis, engine covers, in addition to thermal and air induction systems, to serve the material handling, construction, agriculture, powersports, automotive and defense industries.

Camoplast Solideal announces "Drive for the cure" campaign

February 2012– Camoplast Solideal recently announced the launch of the "Drive for the Cure” campaign during this year's MODEX Show in Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta to support the fight against gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer cause.

Camoplast Solideal designed a limited edition of its high performance Poly tire to support the cause. This special product has the novelty of highlighting the emblematic purple color of the fight against gastrointestinal and pancreatic cancer cause.  The tire will be available in top sizes of premium 90 durometer compound, designed for long runs and multi-shift operations, suitable for most class 2 operations, and used by top OEM. 

 “This tire is one our great products. It is cut and chunk resistant and provides a smoother ride and reduces downtime. We thought it would be a winning idea for everyone if we offer our client this quality incentive which is also design to save lives” said David Fleischhauer, Director of Product Management at Camoplast Solideal.

The Limited Edition "Drive for the Cure” Purple tire will be available in the US during the month of April 2012 among Camoplast Solideal dealer network and service centers. To support the campaign, the company developed merchandising and a series of postcards with cancer survivor testimonials from the material handling industry. In addition, Camoplast Solideal employees will also support the campaign by proudly wearing “Drive for the Cure” T-Shirts and help fundraise for the cause.

Through its "Drive for the Cure" campaign, Camoplast Solideal makes a donation of 50% of the profits for every purple tire sold during the campaign month to the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, with a committed minimum donation of $5,000. 

"This is a more visible way to support Camoplast Solideal’s Drive for the Cure campaign to benefit the activities of the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network,” said Mr. Bob Bulger, Vice President Americas Region for Camoplast Solideal.  “We are delighted to be able to present this limited edition to reinforce our commitment to supporting cancer cure research".
